Over 50 Hatzalah chapters around the world have joined so far to be part of this year’s RaiseThon campaign to raise funds for the life-saving organization.

The campaign has already raised its first million of its $18 million goal, ahead of the campaign launch on Sunday.

United for Protection and Central Hatzalah announced that the 3rd annual Hatzalah-thon, a week-long campaign in support of the Hatzalah organization, will take place starting Sunday, May 15 and will last for 1 week.

Last year’s campaign raised a historic figure of eighteen million dollars, and this year organizers expect to reach that goal.

“This year, we expect nearly 60 Hatzalah branches to join the campaign, and we’ve set our goal at $18 million again this year,” organizers told COLlive.com.

More than 85,000 Jews from all walks of life donated to the historic campaign to show their appreciation for the unsung heroes in their communities.
