Celebrate the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with great enthusiasm: CCI

Jammu, 09 August: The Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) of Jammu, Arun Gupta, on Tuesday made a fervent appeal to the people of Jammu region to celebrate the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with a nationalist fervor and ensure that no household is left without Tricolor at the top of its roof.
He was speaking at a special event organized by ICC Jammu at the Chamber House here. Divisional Commissioner Jammu was the guest of honor on the occasion while various representatives of market associations in the Jammu region also participated in the function organized to popularize the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign envisioned by none other than the Prime Minister Indian Narendra Modi.
Previously, the program had started with the presentation of the welcome speech by Gaurav Gupta, Secretary General of the ICC.
Arun Gupta said that it is the solemn duty of every citizen to celebrate the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with fervor by hoisting the national flag on all buildings including houses, shopping complexes, shops and offices in the 13 to August 15. much importance in instilling a sense of patriotism among the next generation and inducting the offspring with the sacrifices that the countrymen made during the struggle for freedom and uniting the country to become a great nation that is India today . During the occasion, issues relating to business fellowship were also discussed.
Chief Commissioner Ramesh Kumar, in his remarks, said, “It is time to give a solemn message to the whole world that India is united and its people live in perfect harmony through this campaign designed and promoted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi”. He said that this time, the Independence Day should not remain just a government program, but every citizen should take an active part in the national holiday. “Every citizen was expected to hoist the flag with their family members and there should be no decorations on the flag as all should ensure that the flag code has not been violated,” he said. , adding that such events are important enough to tell young people about the glorious past of the country and the bravery with which people managed to free themselves from tyrannical invaders. He also appreciated that CCI plays an important role in society to raise awareness of various social causes. He said the government needs such institutions to spread better services among the masses and ensure good governance.
