U.S. Representative Michael Guest discusses bipartisan efforts to address the challenges facing rural hospitals during the 2019 Rural Health Care Summit at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

The 3rd District congressman has been a leader in lobbying the Biden administration to secure the southern border and support pro-life efforts nationwide.

Incumbent Congressman Michael Guest from the 3rd District joined Y’all Politics to discuss his re-election campaign and to talk about issues he believes are important to Mississippi voters.

Guest is challenged by two newcomers to the Republican primary on June 7. He is currently in his second term, having been first elected in 2018, succeeding Gregg Harper. The guest is the Deputy Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Committee. He also sits on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and Ethics Committees.

Guest has been recognized by the Susan B. Anthony List and the Family Research Council for her pro-life stance, the National Rifle Association for her strong defense of our Second Amendment rights, and the National Federation of Independent Business for her support of pro – growth policies.
