New record set by Walmart Canada’s Spark a Miracle campaign in support of the Children’s Miracle Network

This 3rd annual holiday fundraising campaign, which began on Giving Tuesday and ran until the 31st of Decemberproduced a record $5.4 million for from Canada children, families and local children’s hospitals.

Walmart Canada’s Beloved teddy*returned for the 2021 holiday season. For each Walmart Teddy purchased between November 1 and December 31Walmart donated $2 to the Children’s Miracle Network to help children treated in children’s hospitals through Canada. Customers were also encouraged to support their local children’s hospital by donating at checkout at over 400 Walmart Canada stores or online at Walmart.ca.

Walmart Canada has partnered with Children’s Miracle Network for over 27 years and has raised and donated over $185 million to date in support of 13 children’s hospitals across Canadamaking Walmart the largest private sector contributor to children’s hospital foundations in Canada.

Walmart Canada is also the Children’s Miracle Network Canadian 2021 Business Partner of the Year for its strategic partnership and commitment.

  • McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation – over $250,000
