It’s been a busy year for the Craig Zinn Automotive Group as the organization continues to help the South Florida community while celebrating its 40th anniversary and showing no signs of slowing down in its philanthropic ways.
Craig Zinn Automotive Group owns and operates several dealerships including Lexus of Pembroke Pines, Toyota of Hollywood, Lexus of North Miami, Acura of Pembroke Pines and Subaru of Pembroke Pines.
Subaru of Pembroke Pines held its annual Subaru Share the Love campaign which raised $108,000 which was donated to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the Humane Society of Broward County. The campaign involved the community by agreeing to donate $250 to the hometown charity of anyone who bought or leased a vehicle from Subaru of Pembroke Pines, who donated $1.4 million dollars to the community.
Each year, Craig Zinn Automotive Group, owner and operator of Subaru of Pembroke Pines, matches the amount raised by the campaign. Check giveaways were made to recipients of the charity, with representatives from Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital receiving $84,000 and the Humane Society of Broward County receiving $24,000. Since 2018, Subaru has donated $543,000 to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital.
“The Subaru Share the Love campaign is very important in helping many worthy causes, and we at Subaru of Pembroke Pines and the Craig Zinn Automotive Group are pleased to have once again participated in the campaign,” said Craig Zinn. “By continuing to raise funds for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, and now for the Humane Society of Broward County, our goal is to help those in need in our local community.”
Many charities in the United States have benefited from the nationwide Subaru Share the Love campaign. Over the past 13 years, Subaru of America Inc. and its other retailers have accounted for more than $200 million in charitable donations.
Craig Zinn Automotive Group also donated to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Spread Joy Toy Drive, Neighbors 4 Neighbors Adopt A Family 4 the Holidays Operation Elf Program from CBS and Light-Up the Harbor for Children’s Harbor.
The passion to give back to the community was remarkable with an $18,000 donation for military families given to the Military Heroes Support Foundation. This commitment has been going on for 40 years and it is something that Zinn and his organization will continue to pursue.
“I’m honored to be in business for 40 years and to continue the legacy my father started with his car dealership, and which my children and I are proud to continue,” Zinn said.
